Function Details
SMU Measurement Time
Multiple Measurement Channels
To use multiple measurement channels, define multiple measurement parameters in
the Display Setup screen or the Function Setup screen. Then, measurement
sequence, time data, and measurement time for each measurement point are as
follows.
• Sequence of measurement execution
Measurement channels
perform measurement in t
he order shown below.
1. Measurement channels which use the high speed AD converter and the
FIXED measurement range start measurement simultaneously (parallel
measurement).
2. After the parallel measurement, the other measurement channels perform
measurement s
equentially. The order is top to bottom of the channels defined
in the SMU Range Setup screen.
As a special case, for the linear sampling measurement with Interval < 2 ms
, all
channels start measurement simultaneously.
• Time data
Only the measurement start time of the channel which s
tarts measurement at
first is recorded.
• Measurement time
Measurement time is the sum of the measurement tim
e by all channels.
