2. Check the A1 CPU
1. Turn the analyzer power on.
2. Press [System], DIAGNOSTIC TEST, [1], [x1], RUN TEST to run the internal test 1: A1
CPU.
3. Check the test result, PASS or FAIL, that is displayed at the end of the test.
If this test fails, replace the A1 CPU.
If this test passes, continue with the next Check the A1 DRAM and Flash Memory.
3. Check the A1 DRAM and Flash Memory
The A1 DRAM and flash memory are tested on the sequence to access the bootloader
menu.
Perform the following procedure to verify the A1 DRAM and flash memory.
1. Turn the analyzer power off.
2. Push the [Preset] key. While keeping the key pushed down, turn the analyzer power
on.
3. Wait for the display shown in Figure 6-6 to appear on the LCD.
4. Check that no error message is displayed on the LCD.
If no error message is displayed, the A1 DRAM and flash memories are verified.
Continue with Check the A1 Volatile Memory.
If an error message is displayed or the display shown in Figure 6-6 does not appear,
the A1 CPU is probably faulty. Replace the A1 CPU.
