Key Descriptions
Front-panel key access: CONFIG
CONT
MEASURE Sets the measurements, available under the front panel
MEAS/USER key, so that they run continuously. The
selected measurement is repeated unless interrupted
by another front panel key. The
COPY key does not stop
the measurement.
Front-panel key access: MEAS/USER
COPY Transfers display data to a GPIB device (either a
printer or a plotter) that has been selected with COPY
DEV PRNT PLT.
COPY allows either a black and white or color print of
the entire display screen, or a plot of the entire display
screen. Softkeys cannot be printed or plotted.

Front-panel key access:
COPY
NOTE If the message CONNECT PLOTTER appears briefly in the active function
area of the display when executing any plot function, and there are no
other errors, the plotter is not connected to the GPIB. Check that the
GPIB cable between the spectrum analyzer and plotter is functional
and that the plotter is turned on.
If the CONNECT PLOTTER message appears, and either ERR 109
CtrlFail or ERR 110 NOT CTRL are displayed, the spectrum analyzer is
not able to take control of the GPIB. Disconnect any other controller
from the bus.
If the message CHECK PLOTTER appears briefly in the active function
area of the display when executing any plot function, the plotter is not
responding to a query for its P1 and P2 coordinates. Check that the
plotter is not set to listen-only.
COPY DEV
PRNT PLT Designates the hardcopy device (printer or plotter) that
is used when the
COPY key is pressed. The current copy
selection (PRNT for a printer, PLT for a plotter) is
underlined.
Front-panel key access:
CONFIG
COUNTER
ON OFF Activates (ON) or deactivates (OFF) the counter mode.
This softkey is not available when a tracking generator
is active.
